Relax and Enjoy the beautiful beach of Ponce Inlet!
Only a 70 minute drive from Mount Dora!
My family and friends enjoy the State Park at the Inlet where you can watch the boats go in & out of the inlet along with the dolphins. There are covered picnic areas, clean baths & showers. Also a beautiful jetty you can walk or fish on, lifeguards on duty, and the water is crystal clear here!
Parking is $3.50 a day and the park is open from sunrise to sunset!
The lighthouse is one of the oldest in the USA, it takes 175 steps to reach the top, the views of the intracoastal waterway, and the ocean are incredible.
There are also marina's here with charter boats for sailing or fishing excursions.
